Hi, I’m Darcy Sauers,
and I started my postpartum doula business back in 2010.
Because I had a previous decade long career in marketing, I was able to get my doula business humming along with clients pretty quickly.
After a few years, I had built a stellar reputation in my community AND I started turning inquiries away because I was booked solid.
I was working for one family in the morning and shoving a sandwich in my face as I drove across town to work with a second family in the afternoon.
I was trading all my precious hours for dollars and STILL turning away business. I wanted to be able to earn more income without sacrificing more time away from my own three kiddos.
So, I eased into starting an agency and hired my first Independent Contractor.
